Chapter 13 - The Near Future

Due to the extensive General Declaration changes made as a result of the Transition amendment, it became highly desirable to commission another “restating” of the General Declaration in order to incorporate all amendments subsequent to 1988 and improve the document’s readability. In addition, the version of the By-Laws approved as part of Transition contained some carry-over wording from the previous version that generated some property owner discussion. As a result, a task force was formed during early 2005 to propose a further revision of the By-Laws, and that same task force will provide a first review of the proposed General Declaration “restatement” that is currently being worked on by legal counsel. Both documents will have to be voted on by the full membership before they can become effective.
